My World Junior Diary – Day 03 – Top 5 day of my life

The past couple of days have taken it out of me, so I was pretty pleased when I woke up at 9am and actually felt pretty rested for once.

What I wasn’t pretty please about was the reason why I was woken up at 9am. Not a fire alarm, not the pigeons who’ve made my balcony home, but the room next door to me seemed to be pretty excited to have made it through the night and were celebrating in a most peculiar way. Luckily, he…I mean it, didn’t last long.

So after the horrible wake up call, the rest of the day was superb.

I went back down to the Cardiff Fire game to try and improve my photography skills. After one period the Fire were down but not for long as they came back to win 5 – 1.

Video: Cardiff Fire 3 – 2 Wightlink Buccaneers – Mark Cuddihy Interview

In the first of hopefully many interviews on this website, I caught up with NIHL 2 team Cardiff Fire Director of Hockey and Head Coach Mark Cuddihy after the teams win over the Wightlink Buccaneers.

The fire remained unbeaten on the season and are looking strong for the rest of the year.

2016 – 17 Cardiff Devils Roster Preview

It’s been a busy off-season away from the ice for the Cardiff Devils and away from hockey for myself. While the Devils acquired some new faces, I have met some new faces of my own in my new job.

Now I’m more settled into my new routine I feel I’m ready to commit back into this blogging/spouting my opinion to my one reader. So with hockey returning to the Welsh capital (at least a game that ends with an allocation of points) on Sunday night I think now is a good time to discuss my thoughts on this new Cardiff Devils roster.
